What's So Special About the Plane?

Picture
Throughout history, man has dreamed of being able to fly. Although watching a bird fly across the sky makes it seem so simple, it is looked upon simply for one of the most advanced action in this world. Ever since Davinci dreamed up his flying machines, people have been improving on them at a rapid pace, getting closer and closer to true flight. Then, in early 1900, Orville and Wilbur Wright acheived the unbelievable. They made a powered machine that flew 120 feet before landing successfully. After the initial success, they tried it 3 more times that day, with the best results coming from Wilbur Wright, who made the plane to go over 852 feet. This made the world realize that planes did work, and that they were around to stay. Nowadays, planes are almost more common than birds in the sky! We use them for transporting goods and people, military missions and even sightseeing.
